Reactive dogs display overreactive or exaggerated response to certain things in their environment.

These things can vary but commonly include other dogs, unfamiliar people, or loud noises. Reactive dogs may bark, growl or lunge when encountering these things.

The TikTok account for @A.gsd.named.odin has a reactive German Shepherd named Odin and watching Odin fall in love with his new sister is so touching!

In the video Odin’s owner explains, “Positive reinforcement, patience, compassion and gentle training go a long way.”

We can agree with that because these two German Shepherd dogs sure do seem to be getting along beautifully!

Reactive dogs often require special training and behavior modification techniques to help them become more calm and comfortable, and consulting an an animal trainer or dog behavior expert is always a good idea.

We are so happy that Odin and his sister seem to be getting along so great!
